Day01 Singapore / Istanbul (MOB)
Your wonderful vacation to Turkey will begin with a pleasant flight from Singapore to Istanbul.
Day02 Hippodrome Square / Blue Mosque / Hagia Sophia Museum / Topkapi Palace / Grand Covered Bazaar (L/D)
Welcome to Turkey! Your tour will start in the morning, and proceeds historic sightseeing tours, visiting the Hippodrome Square, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia Museum and the Topkapi Palace. In the 17th century, Sultan Ahmet I wished to build an Islamic place of worship to rival the Hagia Sophia, and the mosque named for him is the impressive result. The two great architectural achievements stand next to each other in Istanbul's main square, and it is up to visitors to decide which is more impressive.
Day03 Istanbul / Canakkale / Dardanelles / Legendary Troy (B/L/D)
Today, visit the city of Canakkale, which hosted many civilizations that lived on the Biga Peninsula in the Last Chalcolithic Age circa 6000 years ago. Very little is known about the identity and lifestyle of these early settlers, and according to some excavations and research, the earliest settlements in the region were set up at Kumtepe. It is supposed that Kumkale was set up in 4000 B.C and Troy was set up between 3500–3000 B.C. The real history of Çanakkale started with Troy. Next, visit the Dardanelles, the brightest cultural center of its time during 3000–2000 B.C. is a narrow strait in northwestern Turkey connecting the Aegean Sea to the Sea of Marmara. It is one of the Turkish Straits, along with its counterpart the Bosporus. The name Dardanelles derives from Dardania, an ancient land on the Asian shore of the strait. The last stop for the day will end with the visit to the legendary Troy and see the replica of the famous wooden horse of Troy.
Day04 Candakkale / Kusadasi / Aegean Picturesque / Virgin Mary’s Cottage (B/L/D)
Today you will drive through the picturesque towns and village of the Aegean Region of Turkey, where a mild climate and warm people waves at you throughout the year. You will also get the opportunity to enjoy the resort town of Kusadasi, a popular stop for the Mediterranean Cruise upon arrival. Virgin Mary’s Cottage, in which, tradition has it that after the death of Christ, John brought Virgin Mary to Ephesus where she spent her days in this small house.
Day05 Kusadasi / Pamukkale / Ephesus / Temple of Artemis (B/L/D)
Pamukkale, meaning "cotton castle" in Turkish, is a natural site and attraction in south-western Turkey in the Denizli Province. Pamukkale is located in Turkey's Inner Aegean region, in the River Menderes valley, which enjoys a temperate climate over the greater part of the year. Visit one of the best preserved city of the ancient Roman Empire, Ephesus, including the magnificent façade of the library of celcius, The Temple of Artemis (seven wonders of the ancient world), The amphitheatre, gymnasium, agora and baths.
Day06 Pamukkale / Hierapolis / Konya / Mevlana Museum / Caravanserai / Cappadocia (B/L/D)
Hierapolis, the holy city of the ancient was on top of the famous Pamukkale hot springs located in south-western Turkey near Denizli. Hierapolis is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with the great baths were constructed with huge stone blocks without use of cement, and consisted of various closed or oprn sections linked together. Next, visit Konya, which has a reputation of being one of the more religiously conservative metropolitan centers in Turkey. It was once known as the "citadel of Islam", and it is still more devout than other cities. Konya was a prominent source for export of "Turkey carpets" to Europe during the Renaissance. These costly, richly-patterned textiles were draped over tables, beds, or chests to proclaim the wealth and status of their owners, and were often included in contemporary oil paintings as symbols of the wealth of the painter's clients. Next, also visit the Mevlana Museum and the Caravanserai a roadside inn where travelers could rest and recover from the day's journey.
Day07 Cappadocia / Cone of Uchisar / Goreme Valley / Avanos / Underground City / Turkish Carpet Factory (B/L/D)
Our full day excursion will starts with the region of Cappadocia. Visit the Cone of Uchisar, where the tallest natural rock citadel is found, and overlooking the great city of Urgup, Avanos, and you may also find the Goreme Valley with its moonscape like landscape. At the Avanos, it has the tradition of pottery making and hand woven carpets before your visit to the underground city. Onyx factory will be the last stop for the day.
Day08 Cappadocia / Ankara / Tuz Golu / Anitkabir / Bolu Mountains (B/L/D)
Today, we will have another round of scenic drive en routing Tuz Golu (Salt Lake) for a photo stop before we enter the capital of Turkey and the country's second largest city after Istanbul in Ankara. The city has a mean elevation of 850 m (2800 ft), and as of 2007 the city had a population of 3,901,201, which includes eight districts under the city's administration. Ankara also serves as the capital of Ankara Province. Also visit the Anitkabir, where the museum of the founder of Turkey is built, before driving through the Bolu Mountain. At the Bolu Mountain region, enjoy the ever changing scenery.
Day09 Istanbul / Singapore (B)
Bid farewell to the historic site of Turkey and be transferred to the Airport for your return flight to Singapore. We hope you would have an enjoyable trip with us.
