Day 1 Singapore/Colombo/Katunayake (MOB)
Arrive in Colombo. Clients will be met by a representative of Jetwing Travels and transferred to Katunayake.

Day 2 Katunayake/Anuradhapura/Bo-Tree/Anuradhapura Monuments/Dambulla (B/L/D)
After breakfast commence an excursion to * Anuradhapura - is the most celebrated of Sri Lanka’s ancient ruined cities. The city’s greatest treasures are its dagabas constructed of small sun-dried bricks and hemispherical in shape. The city’s most renowned relic is the sacred * Bo-Tree which is said to have grown from a branch of the tree under which the Buddha gained enlightenment. It was planted 2250 years ago and is the oldest historic tree in the world. Also visit *Monuments At Anuradhapura - including the Old stone bridge, Western monasteries, Asokaramaya, Alms Hall at Abayagiriya, the Museum, Royal Palac e (old) Temple of the Tooth Relic (Dalada Maligawa), Vessagiriya caves, Sacred Bo Tree (Sri Maha Bodhi) located in Mahavihara, Brazen Palace, Ruwanveliseya, Isurumuniya, Jetawanaramaya, Abhayagiriya (Fa Hsien Museum and Twin Ponds) and the Thuparama dagabas, Samadhi Buddha, Mirisavetiya Dagoba, Ratna Prasada (Gem Palace), Lovamahapaya, Lankaramaya

Day 3 Dambulla/Polonnaruwa/Kiri Vihara/Dambulla (B/L/D)
Morning commences an excursion to *Polonnaruwa - the Capital of Sri Lanka from 11th - 13th Century, contains some splendid and spectacular statues. Lankatileke, Tivanka and Thuparama are the most beautiful and largest shrine ruins and Tivanka has the best example of frescoes of the Polonnaruwa period.The Vata-da-ge is a unique creation of the Sri Lankan artists. Kiri (‘White’) Vihara this large white-washed plaster has survived 7 centuries of abandonment to the jungle between the collapse of the Polonnaruwa Kingdom and its rediscovery in the 19 century.

Day 4 Dambulla Cave Temple/Aluvihara Temple/Kandy/ Temple of the sacred Tooth Relic /Peradeniya/Royal Botanical Garden/Kandy (B/L/D)
Morning visit * Dambulla Cave Temple is a vast isolated rock mass 500ft high and a mile around the base. Here is found the famous Rock Temple dating to the First Century BC. Thereafter proceed to Kandy, via visiting *Aluvihara temple is situated just north of Matale, about 18 miles from Kandy. Here, in 2nd century BC, the Buddhist scriptures (the Tipitaka) were first committed to writing, a chore that required the devout attention of about 500 senior monks 2,000 years ago. The rock caves were formed long ago by boulders tumbling down a nearby mountain.

Afternoon commence city tour of Kandy, including Upper Lake Drive, Arts & Crafts Centre and the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic.

* Kandy - the hill capital, venue of the annual Perahera. The last stronghold of the Sinhala Kings was finally ceded to the British in 1815. Kandy is an example of the Buddhism's influence in Sri Lanka today. Temple's shrines and monasteries keeping alive Buddhist traditions are everywhere.

*Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic - ever since 4th Century A.D, when the Buddha's Tooth was brought to Sri Lanka hidden from sacrilegious hands in an Orissan princess' hair, the Relic has grown in repute and holiness in Sri Lanka and throughout the Buddhist world. It is considered Sri Lanka's most prized possession.

Royal Botanical Gardens - Peradeniya 147 acres in extent; Started in 1374 as a pleasure garden of the Kings of Kandy. There are more than 5000 species of trees and plants. Some rare and endemics as well as flora from the tropical World. Spice Garden and Orchid House are popular with tourist’s.

Evening witness a cultural performance featuring various dance types of Sri Lanka.

Day 5 Kandy/Kelaniya Raja Maha Vihara Temple/Gangarama Temple/Colombo City Tour (B/L/D)
After breakfast leave for Colombo, via visiting * Kelaniya Raja Maha Vihara Temple - Buddhist Temple traditionally believed to be the site visited by the Buddha 2500 years ago. According to the Mahavamsa, the unusual “paddy-heap” shaped dagoba at Kelaniya marks the spot where the Buddha, on the request of a naga king, sat on a ”gem-studded throne” to preach the Dharma to his subjects and convert them. It is ascribed to king Yatala Tissa of the 03rd Century. Also visit ** Gangarama Temple.

Evening commence a city tour of * Colombo - a drive through the city taking you to the busy commercial areas as well as the tree-lined residential, Cinnamon Gardens. Visit Fort, the former British administrative center and military garrison, Sea Street - the Goldsmith’s quarters in the heart of Pettah, the Bazaar area, where is also a Hindu Temple with elaborate stone carvings, and the Dutch Church of Wolfendhal dating back to 1749. Also visit the BMICH, see the replica of Avukana Buddha & the Independence Square.

Dinner at Chinese restaurant.

After dinner transfer you to airport to connect to departure flight back to Singapore.
