Travel south via Hamilton - New Zealand 's fourth largest city and the fertile Waikato region to the " Thermal City " of Rotorua. Visit Te Puia Whakarewarewa Thermal Reserve to see boiling mud pools and roaring geysers. The afternoon is at leisure. In the evening relax in Polynesian Spa (Lake Spa Retreat) which offers unique and very exclusive bathing in four hot mineral natural rock pools. Views from the pools extend past the beautiful garden setting and over Lake Rotorua . |

This morning see bird life, trout and other wildlife before viewing a New Zealand farm show featuring sheep dog demonstrations, cow milking and the stars of our sheep industry. In the afternoon enjoy a 15 mins ride of helicopter. This flight features the region's spectacular volcanic crater lakes. View Lakes Rotorua, Okataina, Okareka, Tarawera, Blue Lake and Green Lake before returning via Te Puia Whakarewarewa Thermal Reserve to Rotorua City . The helicopter will land on Skyline Skyride and you can enjoy the view from top of the mountain. |
