DAY 1: SINGAPORE – KATHMANDU (D)
Depart Singapore to Kathmandu on Royal Nepal Airlines (RA414 0955/1240). Upon arrival, you’ll be transfer to hotel for check in. After that, we will visit the Swayambhunath Temple , said to be 2500 years Stupa on a hillock, which offers a breath-taking view of Kathmandu City and the Sunset view. This Stupa is the oldest of its kind in Nepal , listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Monument List in 1979. After dinner you will be able to stroll along the busy street of Kathmandu city center. Overnight stay in Kathmandu , Vaisali Hotel or similar.
DAY 2: KATHMANDU – CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK B/L/D)
After breakfast, we’ll depart Kathmandu to begin on the Whitewater rafting trip. Alternating between stretches of transquil floating and thrilling whitewater rapids, the raft trip end after 3-4 hours at the village of Gaighat . Our coach will await to drive into the Royal Chitwan National Park . Overnight stay in the safari lodge, Royal Park or similar.
DAY 3: CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK (B/L/D)
The Royal National Park (960sq Kms), formerly a royal hunting reserve, lies in the low land Tarai zone of Southern Nepal. If is home to an extra ordinary range of the world’s rarest animals and birds. Today, we’ll enjoy the bird watching, followed by the jungle trek on the elephant back safari through the jungle and canoe ride. Tonight you will enjoy a sumptuous dinner while watching the traditional Tharu Tribe Cultural Dance. Overnight stay at the safari lodge, Royal Park or similar.
DAY 4: CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK – LUMBINI (B/L/D)
After breakfast, we will set off for Jungle trekking, enjoy the quietness of the jungle and the surprises of rare animals appearing around you. After luch, we will depart to Lumbini by coach. Overnight in Lumbini.
DAY 5: LUMBINI
After breakfast, we will proceed for a full day tour in Lumbini: the main attraction include - The Sacred Garden, spread over 8sq km and possessing all the treasures of the historic area. The Mayadevi Temples, which we find a bas relief of Mayadevi, the Buddha mother giving birth to him. The Mayadevi shrine which is the oldest monument of Nepal . The Ashokan Pillar, which was erected by Emperor Ashoka in 249BC to commemorate his pilgrimage to the sacred site. The Sacred pond, Puskarni, where the queen Mayadevi had taken a bath just before giving birth to the Buddha. Overnight stay in Lumbini.
DAY 6: LUMBINI – POKHARA (B/L/D)
Today, we will depart to Pokhara by flight. This lakeside village sits, “front row center” to one of the most beautiful Himalayan panoramas in the world. The Annapurnas and the famous “Fishtail” mountain peak of Machapuchare tower over the tropical setting of Pokhara and the days we spend there will be the scenic highlight of your trip. Overnight stay in Pokhara, Meera Hotel or similar.
DAY 7: POKHARA (B/L/D)
After breakfast, we will proceed for the city tour of Pokhara valley also called “ Magic Land ” or Dreamland” of Nepal . Our first stop will be the Tibetian Settlement Camp, you will get to see the weaving process of carpets and also the Lama Monastery. After that, we will continued our tour to the Seti Gorge, Bindhyabasini Temple and the famous Devi’s Fall. After lunch, you can have an option of a mini trek up to Sarangkot or continued your shopping till dinner. Overnight stay in Pokhara, Meera hotel or similar.
DAY 8: POKHARA – NAGARKOT (B/L/D)
Depart Pokhara to Kathmandu by coach to Nagarkot, 2300m above seal-level, this scenic spot, with a spectacular view of the sunset and Mount Everest can be seen on a clear day. In the evening, watch the sunset overlooking the Himalayans range at Nagarkot, Overnight at Hotel Country Villa or similar.
DAY 9: NAGARKOT – KATHMANDU (B/L/D)
We will awake to the beginning of a cold but stunningly spectacular dawn: the first rays of the sun firing the peaks a hellish red slowly lighting the Himalayas from Kachenjunga and Everest in the far East to the Annapurnas and Dwawlagiri in the West. Lunch will be at Nagarkot. Dinner and overnight stay in Kathmandu , Vasali Hotel or similar.
DAY 10: KATHMANDU (B/L/D)
Today, we will visit Patan (Lalitpur) – which is the oldest of the three major cities in Kathmandu Valley – famous for its Buddhist monuments, Hindu temples, and you can catch the traditional artisans working with wood, stones and metals. After lunch, we’ll proceed to visit Bouddhanath Stupa, this stupa is the largest in the Aisa region and listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites at 1979. Kathmandu Durbar Square is our next destination and if you are lucky, you will be able to have a glance of the famous living Buddha of Nepal name Kumari. After dinner, free to do your shopping at Thamel. Overnight stay at Vaisali Hotel or similar.
DAY 11: KATHMANDU – SINGAPORE (B)
After breakfast, free at leisure till your transfer to the airport for your flight (RA413 2345/0845#1) back to Singapore .
