Arrival in Kathmandu received by our representative at the airport, lunch in restaurant.

After lunch visit Swoyambhunath Stupa: - The Swoyambhunath Stupa crowns a hillock to the west of Kathmandu. A massive white dome surrounded by a 13 stage spire, the Stupa is one of the most sacred Buddhist sites in Nepal. It is said to be 2000 years old. Its origin is linked to the founding of the Kathmandu Valley, draining the water out of the lake by bodhisattva Manjushree. Swoyambhunath Manifested in the lake as a brilliant light emanating from a lotus and Manjushree let the water out by slashing a passage through the surrounding hills to facilitate paying homepage to Swoyambhu, thus making the valley inhabitable, Next visit Kathmandu Durbar Square: - It is an overwhelming frenzy of art and architecture. The medieval palace complex is erected in different styles at the right hand side of the Kumari temple . The house of Kumari (living goddess), the ferocious Kal Bhairab, the red monkey god and hundreds of erotic carvings are a few examples of the sights at the square! All wood carvings, statues and architecture in this area are exceptionally fine.

Morning view sunrise and sightseeing to Bindabasini Temple, breakfast and drive to Kathmandu, lunch sightseeing to Bhaktapur. This town is the ancient capital of Malla Kings. Historically, the town is built in 9 th century (889 A.D) during the reign of King Ananda Deva. It has many sightseeing spots such as Bhaktapur Durbar Square; Lion gate picture gallery, 55 windows palace, Dattatreya temple and Potters Square. Then drive to Nagarkot , see the sunset view and check in hotel , dinner and overnight at hotel.

Nagarkot/Kathmandu

Breakfast drive to Kathmandu visit Patan Durbar Square: - It is an enchanting mélange of palace buildings, artistic courtyards and graceful pagoda temples. This Square was the former Royal Palace Complex which was the center of Patan’s religious and social life, and houses a museum containing an array of bronze status and religious monuments. One remarkable monument here is 17 th Century temple dedicated to the Hindu god Krishna, built entirely of stone . After lunch visit Pashupatinath It is one of the holiest Hindu shrines in the world. The temple is dedicated to lord Shiva and is built in the familiar Pagoda Style. Chronicies indicate the temple’s existence prior to 400 AD. This holy place is picturesque collection of temples and shrines. All the dying persons are brought to Pashupatinath for the cremation. Only the Hindus are allowed to go inside the temple. NEXT, Boudhanath: - It is the world’s biggest Stupa located about 2 kilometers to the north of Pashupatinath temple. The Colossal Stupa is known by the name of Boudhanath, the god of wisdom. It is difficult to assign a period to it, as some believe that it was built during the reign of either Shiva Dev or Anshu Verma in the 7 th Century AD. Boudhanath attracts the Buddhist pilgrims from all over the world, free for shopping in Thamel area, evening farewell, dinner in Nepali Restaurant with live show overnight in Kathmandu.

Kathmandu/Paro

After breakfast transfer to international airport for flight to Bhutan. On arrival in Paro airport, our representative will receive you and greet , transfer to hotel and rest for a while , after visit Ta Dzong, the National Museum housed in an ancient watchtower, which has a fine collection of ancient Thangka painting, textiles, weapons and artifacts. Walk to the traditional wooden bridge. Below the museum is the Paro Rimpung Dzong .( literally meaning “Heap of Jewels” ) built in 1946 by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal , see finest example of Bhutanese architecture. Kichu Lhakhang Monastery and Drukgyal Dozong. Overnight at Hotel in Paro.

Paro/Thimphu

After early breakfast, excursion to Taktsang Monastery - On a clear day one can view the sacred Mount chhomolari,

Mountain of Goddess (24,000 ft). View of Taktshang, the Tiger's Nest , this magical monastery clings to a vertical granite 

cliff 3,000 ft above the valley floor. The monastery unfortunately got burnt in 1998 but it has recently been reconstructed.

After lunch drive to Thimpu, the capital of Bhutan, visit National Merorial Chorten which built in a typical Tibetan style,

there are numerous religious paintings and the complex tartaric statues reflecting both the peaceful and wrathful aspects

of Buddhist deities. This Chorten is also a center of worship for the people living in Thimphu. Then visit to Dupthop

Lhakhang one of the few surviving nunneries in Bhutan. Before sun set drive to Sangay Gang view point (2685 meters)

to have view of whole Thimphu valley and walk through hundreds of colorful prayer flags that dot the hill over looking

the Thimphu valley. Dinner and Overnight in Hotel at Thimphu.

Thimphu/Paro

After breakfast, sightseeing of Thimphu valley which includes a visit to the National Library, a treasure trove of priceless Buddhist manuscripts; the Traditional Institute of Medicine, where centuries old healing arts such as acupuncture and herbal remedies are still practiced; the Painting School, where young monks learn the art of Buddhist thangkha painting; the workshops for mask making and fine metal craft, weaving, ceramics and paper and; the Textile and Folk Heritage Museum, a fascinating testimony of Bhutanese material culture and living traditions.

Also visit the late King's Memorial Chorten where one can observe prayers and ceremonies that are performed throughout the year.

Visit the Handicrafts Emporium and local shops for souvenirs ranging from Bhutan's fine traditional arts, textiles, thangkha paintings, masks, ceramics, slate and woodcarvings, jewelers to other interesting items made from local materials.
Evening drive to Paro for overnight stay.
