Day 1 Singapore/Jogyakarta (D)
Check-in at Singapore Changi International Airport and begin your holiday with a pleasant flight to Jogyakarta. Upon your arrival in Adisucipto International Airport of Jogja, meet with our friendly tour guide then go directly to have dinner at Ayam Goreng Suharti Restaurant – traditional restaurant serve Fried Kampong Chicken, then transfer to hotel of your choice.

Day 2 Jogyakarta Excursion/Borobudur Temple (B/L/D)
After breakfast at hotel you’ll be directed to see the magnificence of BOROBUDUR TEMPLE, the most well-known Buddhist temple. This famous temple, dating from the 8 th and 9 th century was given a status of World Heritage by UNESCO in 1991. It was built in three tiers all symbolizing the human being’s stages. The base is a pyramidal base with 5 concentric square terraces-the symbol of human being that are still bound by lust. The middle four terraces symbolizing human beings that have set themselves free from lust but are still bound to appearance and shape. On this terrace, Buddha effigies are placed in open space, while the other upper three terraces where Buddha effigies are confined in domes with wholes, symbolizing human beings that have been free from lust, appearance and shape. The top part that is a monumental stupa symbolizes nirvana, where Buddha is residing. The walls are decorated with nearly 1500 fine narrative relief’s panels, covering a total surface area of 2,500m2. On the way back to Jogja, we will pass thru MENDUT AND PAWON Temples. These smaller temples was intended to top Borobudur, but it is impossible to raise it to the summit.

We continue to visit SULTAN PALACE (KRATON) - the place where the King or Queen lives. This still active Palace is defined as the center of the world, where the cultural and political heart of the city takes place in this walled royal enclave. If you are lucky enough, you will bump into the Reigning Sultan himself, as he sometimes takes a stroll down the Kraton Complex.

Day 3 Jogyakarta/Solo Excursion/Jogyakarta (B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel then we will go to Solo – the sister city of Jogja, it will take about 1.5 hour drive. On the way, we will visit PRAMBANAN TEMPLE- the grandest Hindu temple complex in Java. Built around 9 th century AD, this temple is dedicated to SHIVA (one of Hindu deity). Rising above the center of the last of these concentric squares are three temples decorated with relief’s illustrating the epic of the Ramayana, dedicated to the three great Hindu divinities (Shiva, Vishnu and Brahma) and three temples dedicated to the animals who serve them. It’s another World Heritage Sites given by UNESCO. Continue our journey to Solo, we will stop by for lunch at a local restaurant, and continue to visit the MANGKUNEGARAN PALACE. This palace founded in 1757 has a main structure in Javanese-European style. The museum has a collection of fascinating curios, interesting masks, and wonderful dining room.

Day 4 Jogyakarta/Singapore (B)
Breakfast at hotel. Suggestions for a visit: MALIOBORO STREET- Jogja main street, where you will find the experience of hunting exclusive souvenirs of Jogja and the arts of bargaining with those local stall vendors is amazingly fun and satisfying. You can find souvenirs items such as ladies handbags, handicrafts, batik, rattan ornament, silver goods, leather puppets, bamboo handicrafts, key chains, ornament lamp and many others.

Free program for your own leisure. At the arranged time, we will meet you up in the hotel, to take you to the Airport for flight back home. The tour ends here. See you at the next TX Travel program
