Your tour will start with a visit to Luhitou park, where you’ll first have a guided visit and then will have some free time to explore it by yourself. Luhuitou park is located on a peninsula in Sanya city. The name of the park was originated from a legend of the Li nationality. It is said that in ancient times, there was a brave, industrious and kindhearted young hunter of the Li nationality in Wuzhi Mountains . He found a deer when he was hunting and traced after it for nine days and nights, crossing 99 mountains and rivers, finally they got to the cliff made up of coral reef where this park locates. When the deer found that it was driven from pillar to post, it had to plant itself and turn its head staring at the hunter. As the young man was shooting at it with the arrow, the deer suddenly changed into a beautiful girl. The girl was a fairy maiden, and she had fallen in love with the brave, industrious and kindhearted young man. So with the permission of the empress, she descended to the world to marry the young man. After marriage, they lived together happily. Later people called this spot “Luhuitou” which means deer turns its head, and called Sanya the City of Deer for another name.
Nowadays, a park has been constructed and a 12-meter-tall sculpture of a deer turning its head is standing there. Trees of all kinds are growing and many hotels and facilities for tourist vacation, view have been set up. The top of the park is 285meters above sea level, and visitors can overlook the South China Sea as well as the full view of Sanya city on it.
You will then continue your tour with a short panorama tour of Yalong Bay located in the southeast area which is 25km. away from Sanya , the southmost tropical seashore city of China . The nature sights in her e, such as the rolling hills, the smooth and blue sea and the soft and pure sea beach are wonderful and characteristic. The visibility of the sea water is over 10 meters deep, in which all kinds of fishes are living. The coral reef here is a key natural preserve. After lunch you’ll visit the Wuzhizhou Island which is located on the sea area. This island is about 2.7km. from the northeast coast of Sanya city. It is one of the few islets that have rich freshwater and vegetation in them, close to the east expressway, in an advantageous geographical position. The Wuzhizhou Island which is ruled by typical tropical maritime climate is feeling mild and cool all the year round and pleasant in the four seasons. It is an ideal whither for holidays, leisure, hibernation, winter swim and recreation. There are more than 2000different kinds of plants, arbors and shrubs growing on the island. The altitude of the peak in the southeast of this island is 79.9meters high with cliff, reef and surfy sea. In the west and north, the hypsography is smooth with soft and white sand beach in the bay and clear sea water in which nightlight snails, sea cucumber, lobsters, sierra fish, urchin, pomfret and motley tropical fish are teemed with. You’ll leave the port and drive first to the End of the Earth. Tianya Haijiao – “the Remotest Cape on Earth” – is located near Phoenix Airport in Sanya. On one of the huge boulders on the beach, two Chinese characters have been inscribed: “Tian Ya” (the edge of the sky) written by Chengzhe, who was chief magistrate of Yazhou Perfecture during the reign of Yongzheng, in the Qing Dynasty. On yet another boulder behind it, there are carved two other Chinese characters “Hai Jiao” (the utmost end of the sea). In Chinese, Tian Ya Hai Jiao literally means “the end of the Earth”. To the Chinese people these words carry a significant cultural significance, as their origin as a set phrase dates back to a famous poem from the Tang Dynasty (618-907). Lyrics of a popular Chinese love song also exclaim: “Let’s accompany each other until the end of time, until the end of the Earth.” As such, the phrase Tianya-Haijiao has gone far beyond a mere reference to geographical distance but has become a symbol of friendship, love and life.

There are many legends associated with the name Bai Chay. The whole fleet was engulfed in fire, setting also the forest on fire. Since then this stretch of beach became known as Bai Chay or scorched beach.

You’ll leave the port and drive to Bai Chay boat station where you’ll experience a boat ride in Halong Bay . The folk tale has it that the dragons descended from heaven to help locals by spitting jewels and jade to the sea, forming a natural fortress against invaders; these precious stones are represented by the lush green outcrops. According to the locals, Bai Chay got its name long ago, based on another historical event. Bai Chay was once a forest. In 1287, the Mongols led by the great Truong Van Ho, (a Vietnamese name for this Mongolian general) attacked Vietnam and was driven back by general Tran Khanh Du. Many Mongolian ships were set afire and drifted to shore aided by high wind setting the forest on fire. Since then this stretch of beach became known as Bai Chay or scorched beach.
You’ll arrive then at the local restaurant for a typical Vietnamese lunch.
After lunch, you’ll drive to the Royal Amusement Park , located right at Bai Chay Beach of Ha Long. It sits on an area of 10 hectares and coastal length of 1,500 metres.
